The educational seminar «Increasing tool, cold deformation die and cast die durability»

deals with the process of final plasma hardening.

       The next educational seminar will take place within the framework of 14th International research and practice conference «Hardening, coating and repair technologies: theory and practice» 17^th – 20^th of April 2012 in St. Petersburg.

       The main purpose of the seminar is to familiarise the audience with modern hardening techniques used all over the world to increase the durability of cutting and production tools.

         During the seminar your tools will be hardened using final plasma hardening, ion-plasma spraying, spark alloying, laser hardening and other techniques.

        Invited to participate in the educational seminar are specialists from toolmaking and manufacturing departments and shops of cutting and production tool manufacturers, who are responsible for the making of new reliable and competitive products.

        Techniques and equipment for increasing the durability of tools, dies and other products manifold by the application of wear-resistant coatings, as well as techniques of restoration of worn-out production tools will be demonstrated during the seminar. You will have an opportunity to evaluate the economic expediency of using these techniques in your production.
