The conference will examine the following hardening, restoration and repair techniques:

TROUBLESHOOTING, FLAW DETECTION, WASHING AND CLEANING

– vibration monitoring, troubleshooting, alignment and balance adjustment systems;
– design and equipment troubleshooting using acoustic emission technique;
– ultrasonic washing and cleaning, abrasive jet machining;
– removal of old paint coats using organic solvents.

TASK GEOMETRY RECONSTRUCTION

– thermal spraying (flame, plasma, wire arc, detonation, HVOF), gas dynamic cold spraying;
– weld deposition techniques (plasma, vibroarc, using flux, induction hard-facing and others);
– repair welding (using electrodes, wire, argon, CO2);
– electro-contact and induction powder coating;
– cold welding using metal-polymer composites Belzona, Durmetal, Diamant, Loctite, Leo and others.

SURFACE HARDENING AND RECOVERY OF SURFACE PROPERTIES

– final plasma hardening, plasma modification, high-frequency plasma hardening;
– spark hardening and ultrasonic spark alloying;
– vacuum condensation deposition techniques;
– laser, electron beam, torch hardening;
– using highly ordered carbon clusters (fullerenes);
– repairing friction parts of machines and mechanisms using the RVS technique, using fluorosurfactants, epilamisation;
– low-temperature case hardening;
– sherardising;
– micro-arc oxide coating;
– surface modification using mineral compounds, products SURM, NIOD, RIMET, RESURS, FENOM, MMT, HADO, FORSAN, FIAL, ZHIVOY METALL, ENERGIYA-3000, PRACTEX, ORMEX, RECAVERY, STRIBOIL, REAGENT-2000, SANTITEC-RD and others;
– hardening by plastic deformation of surface (roller or ball burnishing, vibroburnishing, smoothing, electromechanical treatment, hydroabrasive hardening, bead hardening);

MECHANICAL TREATMENT OF EXISTING COATINGS

– non-abrasive ultrasonic final polishing;
– magnetic abrasive machining and ultrasonic abrasive machining.

COLOURING AND CONSERVATION

– using ZVES, ZINOL, ZINGA compounds for cold galvanising of steels;
– using MIFOL inhibitor, cathodic protection and protection coatings;
– coating using tribostatic and electrostatic methods.
